Dear friends,

we are very happy to invite you to our international learning, networking, and community festival #hashtag, taking place on 27–30 November 2026 in Barmstedt, near Hamburg.

Time passes. We grow older, visit new places, build new friendships, and experience beautiful moments, but also many challenges. That's life. It happens to everyone. And it happens to our organization as well.

Yet one constant remains: every year, on the first Advent weekend, old and new friends come together in Barmstedt. We look back on the past year, both within the organization and in our personal lives, spend time together on the cozy fireplace room and enjoy conversations late into the night. In countless seminar rooms, we discover something new through workshops or revisit familiar topics with just as much or even more curiosity and enthusiasm.

We play guitar and board games, wait together in the long breakfast queue, sing, and laugh. On Saturday night, people dance in the basement until five o'clock in the morning. Somewhere, a delicious cake is being baked; somewhere else, a new idea is taking shape. We stay together, organize a cleaning party on Sunday evening, connect with one another, reflect, and exchange thoughts. We ask ourselves and others unexpected questions and gain new perspectives.

Sometimes, a complete stranger suddenly becomes a good friend, or even a best friend. Sometimes, the idea for a youth project emerges, a project that may not even have a name yet, but one that everyone already knows will happen.

A single text, even this long, cannot fully describe everything that can be experienced at #hashtag. You never know exactly what awaits you, and every year brings new surprises.
What is certain, however, is that none of this would be possible without you. That is why we are excited to welcome every open-minded and curious person who would like to experience and help shape the unique atmosphere of the house in Barmstedt.
