Claim It! Youth takes charge of rights and equality

Spending 7 days in the beautiful country of Armenia, working, talking and playing on democracy, society and the struggles of our generation. Together with other young people from Armenia and France.

The Claim It! project brings young people together to strengthen democracy and civic education through exchanges of experiences, workshops, debates, and ideation sessions.
At a time when a lack of civic awareness is fostering injustice and undermining
social cohesion, community engagement is essential.
Faced with tensions and the rise of extremism, the main challenge remains the involvement of young people in democratic debate. Claim It! offers simulation games, creative workshops, and debates to develop critical thinking, cooperation, and the ability to take action, enabling participants to acquire concrete tools to promote change in their communities.
We'll spend seven days in the beautifil country of Armenien. Days full of discussion, adventure and spectacular landscape.
A second and third part of the project shall take place in the next years in France and Germany. Participation in all parts of the project is welcome.

Tsaghkadzor is a mountain town known for its fresh air, green landscapes, and peaceful environment, making it a popular destination for trainings and youth activities.

Who can apply

• Young people from 18 to 26 years old (living in Germany) ...
• ... interested in social issues and ready to actively engage in an
  international learning experience.
• ... interested in rights, fairness, and active citizenship
• ... willing to participate fully in all activities
• ... having a valid passport to travel to Armenia

Working language will be English. If you are not fluent in English, don’t be afraid to apply, you should be able to communicate in English on an every day level. We will support each other with language mediation if needed.

Financial contribution: 200€
If you can not afford the financial contribution, but would like to participate, please contact the team, we will most likely find a solution to make your participation possible.
The costs cover travel costs from Hamburg to Armenia and back, food, accomodation, insurance and program costs.
Personal expenses incurred during your free time must be covered by you.
